Our Philosophy

Everybody loves a wedding, especially us!!

We love meeting couples in the early stages of their wedding planning and seeing their plans come into fruition on the big day! We pride ourselves on our ability to work professionally and do all that is needed to ensure that you get the best possible photographs to remember your day by. From coaxing smiles out of grumpy toddlers to rearranging windswept hair, we will do whatever it takes to guarantee the best possible images!

During your Wedding day we will work to your plans, arriving and leaving at whatever time you need us to. Our general approach is photojournalistic in style, however we are flexible and happy to accommodate any particular style requests that you may have. We can take large group photographs, smaller informal groups and even photo booth style images. We will photograph in the style that best suits your wedding and how you want to remember your day.

Before Your Wedding

Before you book your photography with us we like to meet you for a no-obligation consultation in order for us to find out what you have planned for your day and get to know you. We will discuss our style and approach with you in order to decide what would best suit your wedding. We can show you examples of our work, sample albums and printed products.

Once you decide to book with us we will meet you again for your Pre-wedding photoshoot. This is a great opportunity for us all to get to know one another, for you to get comfortable in front of the camera and to discuss the type of images that you like.

We like to meet you at least once at your Venue so we can have a walkabout with you and identify the key features and the reasons you chose this particular venue. We can work together to identify locations for group shots and Bride and Groom portraits. This is also a great opportunity to run through the exact timings for the day to ensure we don’t miss anything!

On The Day

Having met and discussed your requirements before your wedding we will usually need very little direction on the day, allowing you to enjoy the events as they unfold in the knowledge that we will be capturing the moments that matter to you.

If you require group shots we will have drawn up a list with you during the planning so that this part of the day runs smoothly, allowing you to spend time enjoying the day.

We also like to find time during the day for some Bride and Groom portraits, this usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes. This is a very important part of the day for newlyweds, you get to spend some time together away from the rest of the wedding party and we can capture some beautiful images for you to cherish.

After Your Wedding

A few weeks after your wedding we will have all your images ready to view. We will meet you, usually in your home and show you a slide show of your big day. This is a very exciting and often emotional experience and often the first opportunity for you to see some events from the day.

Once you have given your permission we will send out a link to an online gallery to your guests, who will be able to view and order printed products directly.
